An established & hugely successful Smart Technology company based in Cumbria who have an excellent presence on a Global stage for providing top class Wireless Communications have a new opening position and they’re now seeking  to hire for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join the business due ongoing success and growth.

The salary on offer is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience with excellent benefits too. Remote work is available due to COVID-19.

Job Role: As the successful Graduate Electronics Engineer, you will be developing new Electronics and Embedded Software for exciting and innovative precision products, with guidance from Senior team leaders, Project Managers and Directors. This Graduate Electronics Engineering role will also include the full product life cycle development from specification generation through to initial product verification and validation.

The successful Graduate Electronics Engineer will have experience in the following areas:

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar
1-3 years industry experience
Electronic Circuit Design (Analogue & Digital)
PCB Design & Schematic Capture
Altium Designer, Proteus, OrCAD, Easy-PC, KiCAD or similar
Embedded Software Development in C, C++
Fault finding down to a component level
Good soldering skills
Ability to interpret technical schematics drawings and PCB layout drawings
Test equipment – Soldering iron, multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers 

Desirable nice to have skills:

Experience of network interfaces, I2C, SPI, USB, RS232/RS485, WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, NB-IoT, LoRa
STM32 & ARM processor experience
Circuit simulation – LT Spice, Matlab, Simulink
Design & testing of EMC
