Job Description

Garduate Business Develoment Manager £40k-£70K basic + commission + car 

Uk Based - Travel to client sites 

 
Working on behalf of our retained client a leading global provider of integrated multichannel marketing and business communications solutions. As a Graduate Business Development  Manager you will be trained to undertake  the  following duties;
  • Support Account Directors with complex sales activities on existing accounts.
  • Be accountable for the achievement of the annual sales budget
  • Work with the Sector Director, marketing and other business development people to develop the sales strategy
  • Create, develop and sign new sales opportunities with new customers
  • Detailing scope and size of the market, identifying and prospecting into  accounts
  •  developing the appropriate schedule of activities to help generate sales pipeline and close opportunities to
  • Be accountable for delivering a singings quota in each year, within EBIT goals
  • Develop a long term pipeline of opportunities to ensure a year-on-year delivery of sales quota
  • Build pursuit teams to win and sign each deal. Lead these virtual teams and drive outstanding performance in them, creating and implementing successful win strategies. The opportunities will have an annualised revenue of >£5m
  • Be responsible for developing and overseeing the plan for sales-related (support) activities and events needed to generate awareness and sales opportunities within the vertical market
 


Your Skills and Experience, Graduate Business Development manager 


 
  • Masters level qualifcation in a relivant feild advantageous 
  • Experience in Marketing Communications and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Multi-Channel Communications solutions woould be an advantage 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, to include presentation skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to sell in a consultative manner
  • Navigate the political environment within a client to assist in the winning and signature of deals.
  • Ability to build creative (yet robust and profitable) deals and business models that gives a competitive advantage in the market
  • Ability to communicate at Board level and with a track record in establishing dialogue and relationships with Senior Executives with prospect client organisations, e.g. FTSE 500
  • Ability to successfully lead the bid process from initial stage to close
