My client based out of Tewkesbury, are looking for a Goods in & Work Administrator, to join their team to assist with goods in, dispatch and work scheduling.
The company supply goods in to the healthcare sector.
This is a broad role working closely with the Operations Manager on the operational side of the business.
" Ensure that receiving goods in from suppliers is done in accordance with company procedure and in a timely manner.
" Ensure all stocks/parts are picked and distributed to engineers, sales staff, customers as required to timescales.
" Confirm when deliveries, collections, servicing and repairs have been completed in the system. Check for and action incomplete jobs in this record.
" Ensure that stock movements (booking in, goods out) are recorded correctly in the system. Errors to be communicated with stock controller.
" Assembling goods once they've arrived in accordance with training.
" Ensure all received parts and products are clearly labelled and put away, working with the stock controller where needed to improve stock management.
" Planning and booking in deliveries, repairs and servicing with clients and relevant third parties. Dealing with any enquiries that this raises, seeking support from customer champions and other colleagues where appropriate.
" Preparing paperwork for deliveries, collections, repairs and servicing and ensuring this is passed to drivers and engineers, as well as being logged in their diaries.
" Communicating with purchasing where purchase orders have been part or incorrectly received (e.g. damaged or miss-picked).
" Provide help to drivers, assessors and engineers with loading and unloading vans, and that such equipment/parts/products are ready for this.
" Ensure all outbound sales orders are ready for dispatch in accordance with the goods out procedure.
" To ensure that all goods leave site in accordance with the goods out procedure.
" Ensure warehouses (all units) and the decontamination area (which is covered by the decon. team) are kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.
" Responsible for overall site maintenance, supported by third party disposal companies (e.g. bins and skips).
" To aid in ad hoc delivery work if needed.
" To provide additional support as required by the business.
" Providing holiday cover for appropriate work when needed.
" Support a continuously improving warehouse operation.
" Requires sound communication skills
" An organised approach to work and warehouse management
" Computer literate
" Including Excel and data entry
" Stock and distribution experience including manual handling and product skills as an advantage
" Must be able to think and react quickly in a fast-paced working environment
" Full UK driving licence
" Clear DBS check would be ideal but can be applied for on completion of application
" Numerate and literate#
£21,000 starting salary rising to £23,000 after 12 months
32 days holiday (Including bank holidays)
Monday to Friday - 0830 to 1700
Paid overtime if needed
You will be put through company training for the position
