The roleThe difference our new Flight Line Controller will makeAs a Flight Line Controller, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. controlling aircraft allocation to meet the requirements of the maintenance plan
Day to day, you'll supervise all Flight-Line operations and staff employed on Flight Line duties. Ensure all aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to always meet or exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs. Be present in-Flight Line Office to assist RAF aircrew with before and after flight aircraft and engineering administration and debriefs, carry out routine flight line documentation and administration, provide interface between Company Engineering Staff and the Customer, plan short-, medium- and long-term maintenance of Company aircraft. Help with administrative support with HSE and SHEF compliance ensuring a safe working environment, maintain update Company computer records (Rusada System), perform aircraft handling tasks as required including "A" checks and assist in hanger maintenance when able.

Essential experience Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
Driving Licence
Aircraft engineering experience
Knowledge of MOD Engineering procedures/documentation
Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
Applicants might have but not essential:- Experience of working within a military environment
- Experience of handling aircraft in a military or civilian EASA Pt 145 environment.
- Grob 115 E Handling Course.
- Check A course.
- Familiar with Military Documentation.
- IT Skills Desirable
- Grob 115E Experience Desirable but not essential as training would provided
- Defence industry experience - desirable
