Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Fleet Management Controller to work on a permanent basis for our client SHB Vehicle Hire, a market leading national vehicle fleet management company. This position will be based at the Manchester depot.

Duties

You will be responsible for planning and booking compliance work, organising breakdown / defect vehicle repairs and liaising with customers to raise purchase order requests for all completed work.

Responsibilities

*To ensure all services provided to the customer and any costs associated with the service are re-couped within the recharge process following the customer specific guidelines.
*To ensure maintenance schedules and MOT appointments are agreed, accurate and supplied on a timely basis.
*Offer front line customer support and advice following an enquiry.
*Allocate calls and resources to ensure that all calls and tasks are attended by the appropriate Engineer.
*Manage the progress of all customer calls and escalate as appropriate.
*Ensure that the necessary processes, procedures, and engineer work instructions are understood and are followed.
*General administrative duties as required such as raising and taking calls, monitoring of Call Management through the in-house telephony system, inputting of data onto the in-house computer system ensuring accuracy of records, procedures and documentation.

Key Accountabilities

*Ensuring all fleet under your control and all associated ancillaries are compliant within either customer, legislative or manufacturer's guidelines.
*Cost control within a P&L arena.
*Ensure that repairs are actioned in the most cost effective manner.
*Ensuring that all invoices are processed within timeframes set.
*Ensure all costs are either recharged or within Contract parameters.

Essential Skills

*Previous vehicle compliance control and or commercial recharge experience.
*Ability to control maintenance costs and challenge if necessary.
*A good standard of written and spoken English.
*Excellent communication and customer care skills.
*Business standard IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
*Ability to work well under pressure.
*Ability to work well as part of a team, and also on their own when required.
