Fleet Controller
Northampton
£20,000- £23,000

My client who are a national fleet and hire company are looking for an experience fleet administrator to join there Northampton Branch.

Key Responsibilities (duties)

Manage all vehicles to ensure that they comply with current legislation, company policies and are
road legal by
*Managing assigned KPI's and action accordingly.
*Ensure all certification and documentation is current and correct.
*Vehicle maintenance budget control by adhering to business procedures (BSI flow charts etc) which will include:
*Accurate entry of data
*Monitoring for repeat repairs/warranty/non-fair wear & tear issues
*Accurate & timely closing of jobs
*Accurate & timely filing of closed/invoiced jobs

Participate as a member of the Fleet desk team
*Assist Technical Service Manager with month end & various other reports
*Assist with resolution of invoice queries
*Assist satellite workshops & mobile engineers with issues/queries

Management & support of various contracts
*Accurate entry of jobs
*Monitor/manage & maintain compliance spreadsheets
*Checking general CPC/O license compliance issues
*Processing of tyre requests, reports and recharges

To provide customer & service support for various service contracts
*Prompt liaison between customer & maintenance providers-arranging the repair/booking vehicles in for servicing etc
*Chasing of these repairs to ensure that the repair is completed in a reasonable timescale & client updated accordingly
*Liaising with internal and external workshops to update costs
*Liaise with internal and external providers to ensure that documents are received checked and scanned

To manage daily data backup system
*Monitoring that the daily backup has completed correctly & liaising any faults with company Directors
*Swapping the tapes daily & liaise swap overs with the service provider
*Assist with Disaster Recovery tests as & when required


ESSENTIAL SKILLS
*Good work organisation
*Excellent telephone manner
*IT literate with experience of using outlook, excel and word
*Ability to work unsupervised and at own initiative
*Able to prioritise own workload
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to changing business needs

DESIRABLE SKILLS
*Having worked in a commercial vehicle facility
*Ability to work independently on assigned projects
*Experienced in dealing with confidential information
