Page Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with am established manufacturing brand based near Chester to recruit an Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a stable team of 6 including the production of monthly management information and the year end statutory financial accounts in accordance with the relevant financial standards.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include, but are not limited to:

Support the annual audit and production of the statutory accounts, including the preparation of various supporting schedules.
Assisting with the production of tax schedules
Assisting with the preparation of the companies monthly Management Information System file and assist in preparation of the monthly Management Accounts Pack for Board of Directors
Periodic accounting for the Commercial Department's P&L investment and business partnering
Supporting the preparation and submit VAT returns
Management of a stable transactional team of 6
Monthly (and ad-hoc) inter-company reconciliations
Monthly finance costs and depreciation calculations
Preparation of the quarterly bad debt review
Assist with other statutory reportingAny other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Head of Finance

Profile

The successful Financial Accountant will:

Have experience relevant experience within a similar role
Excellent reporting skills
Very confident communicating with key stakeholders and internal departments
Finalist or part qualified in ACCA/CIMA/AAT
