Following investment by Inflexion and ICG private equity firms in March 2020, the group is in a strong position to pursue its strategy of growing technology led business models both in the UK and internationally. The group currently has revenue of £270m+, employs nearly 5,000 staff and has a network of 1,000 self-employed enforcement agents. The business operates 21 lines of business across several trading entities, primarily in the UK.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months The Position & Key Responsibilities

This is a new role, created to support our Finance Transformation programme. It is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a major contribution to the delivery of an improved, more effective Finance function. You will foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders – working collaboratively to identify opportunities to enhance how our Finance function operates. We want someone who can drive innovation, strengthen policies, embed new robust processes and systems, and ensure that objectives are achieved with the support of effective project management. You will measure progress against the finance transformation programme plan, manage risk and issues, and measure success against agreed critical success factors. You will also take an active role delivering change activities.

You should already have experience of managing or supporting a complex change programme and must have a strong financial background with a good understanding of a corporate finance function and financial controls. You will need good all-round communication skills (in writing and in person) and the ability to bring complex financial concepts to life for non-finance audiences. As well as being proficient in the usual MS Office tools, you should have an evidenced background in using project management tools and techniques.

The location for the role is Oldham, travel as required to regional offices.
