Sheridan Maine is working on behalf of an established and growing company based in Chippenham. A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Process & Controls Manager to join their central finance team. This role will include providing guidance in regards to best practice whilst monitoring processes and controls to ensure they remain in accordance with standard procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer support and guidance to finance teams in relation to best practice
  • Document and maintain the company’s finance policies
  • Deliver an annual Finance Assurance Plan to purposefully test and improve controls and procedures
  • Review risks for all major projects that would involve finance processes and controls
Ideal Candidate:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with post qualified experience
  • Extensive technical accounting experience
  • High integrity and ability to recognise, identify and mitigate risk
  • Previous experience setting up and testing controls
  • Able to provide insightful and practical reports
