Job Description

Sheridan Maine is in the process of exclusively recruiting on behalf of a well-known manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Basingstoke, who is seeking an Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

The business has ample parking on site and is easily accessible via public transport. They are paying a competitive rate and will look favourably at candidates that are available at short notice.

The main purpose of this position is to support the finance team. Key responsibilities in this role will include:

- Processing invoices
- Raising invoices
- Reviewing the P&L
- Monthly reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Preparing monthly reports

The successful candidate will have previous accounting experience and will be able to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will be available at short notice. Strong communication skills are required for this role coupled with advanced Excel.
