FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER
30 hours per week x 1 and 35hrs pw x 1 - Must be able to do earlies and lates and every other weekend work.

Main duties and responsibilities:
To participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
To support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.

It is an established residential home for up to 6 adult residents with Austism Spectrum Disorders, Prada Willi, challenging behaviours and mental health issues. We are seeking a caring, compassionate and committed Support Worker to provide the support that allows our amazing service users to lead ordinary lives. Whilst the role of a Support Worker offers variety, superb progression opportunities and training, it takes a courageous and committed individual to really succeed at the role.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.
Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills
The passion to work with vulnerable adults
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
