You must be female in order to provide personal care to the people we support.

As part of the support you provide, you will need to drive our Residents mobility cars.  As a result, you must have a full UK or EU driving licence and be 21 or over. Ideally, you will also have access to your own car as there is limited public transport to the service.

There are various shift patterns which cover week days, weekends, evenings, waking nights  and sleep ins. Examples of the shifts recently worked by a full time (37.5 hours) and part time (30 hours per week) are attached purely as a guide to the sort of shifts that our Support Workers do.   You will be required to work sleep in shifts at this service, and you will be paid for this on top of your salary.  Please note that sleep ins are not contracted.

You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £60.00 for any sleep in shifts carried out. The payment for sleep ins is non-contractual.

About the Service

The service supports four people in a purpose built bungalow in Llangennech. They have a wide range of interests: sports, shopping, going out to eat, baking and cooking, going on holiday and visiting the beach. They work and play on our computers and phones. They do art courses and bikeability. Some of them can speak, others are non-verbal.
