Experienced energetic and enthusiastic *Female Children’s Support Worker required for a delightful and bright eight-year-old girl who has Cerebral Palsy and is suffering from developmental delay. The support worker will be required to work with our client in a supportive role within the family home. Our client lives in the Holbeach area.
Due to Covid-19 she is in the high risk category and is being shielded at home with her parents therefore this MUST be your only post and you must be willing to be reasonable with your out of work activities due to the current pandemic.
This is a fairly new care package and we are seeking a part time rehabilitation support worker for a minimum of 8 hours a week. You must be able to cover Sundays 4-8pm and one evening or morning weekdays.
We require cover for annual leave and sickness, and it is expected that the hours will gradually increase. Ideally you will be very flexible and be able to join our small team for therapy training which is ongoing most weeks.
We are seeking bubbly, enthusiastic and very energetic support workers who are flexible, patient and dynamic. You must have experience of working with children with disabilities.
Our client is not currently attending school therefore support is covering 10am-8pm until she returns to school.
You must be able to drive and willing to go out with the family for the day, weekends away and holidays.
Rates of pay: £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential along with your own vehicle.
