An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their machine shop. They require a Facility Supervisor to oversee and implement processes at their state-of-the-art facility in Tewkesbury.
The candidate will be responsible for
Ensuring correct practises, legalities and responsibilities in respect of employment, health and safety and environmental aspects and quality are maintained & implement processes where non-conformance/corrective action is requir
To provide effective production, logistics and ICT management throughout the manufacturing operation of the business.
o inform management in good time when it is considered that capacity will cause delay after initial remedial action has failed.
To monitor and manage performance of all workshop staff, recommend training, provide motivation and instigate disciplinary proceedings as appropriate to secure sales and performance objectives..
To ensure accurate and timely information is made available to the Accounts Department.
Ensure the security and maintenance of the premises at all times.
To conduct QMS audits where assigned
To raise purchase order requisitions and flow down purchasing requirements
To conduct team reviews & communicate with workshop [performance & 5C]
To attend management reviews and complete all/any delegated planned actions/corrective actions within five working days.
We are looking for a Facility Supervisor who ideally has the following skills:
*Extensive knowledge of CNC machining and production processes
*Team Leader experience will be an advantage.
*Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
*Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
