The Cluster Facilities Supervisor role is based within our Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) business unit.

Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, with our largest site being Lakeside in Portsmouth, but we operate from multiple sites around the world. BCS supplies and operates all IT, security, procurement, and finance Shared Services. We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships that support delivery to our customers. We drive standardisation, simplification and automation across Babcock, to help generate sustainable value for the group and our external customers.

The role

The difference our new Cluster Facilities Supervisor will make, As a Cluster Facilities Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. To lead the Hard or Soft FM service delivery teams and sub-contractors to manage and maintain the property and services to all customers and stakeholders across a regional cluster of Sites.

Day to day, you'll be safeguarding confidential & personal Information, maintaining high level of quality service and customer care and providing Subject Matter Expert support and guidance to the wider team and key stakeholders on at least one element of Hard or Soft FM (Cleaning, Security, Legionella, etc.).

You will also ensure performance and the requirements of health and safety compliance are achieved within the service area, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of all operational elements of either Hard or Soft service including, out-of-hours, ensuring cover for holiday and sickness, effectively manage specialist sub- contractors to ensure overall best value and quality of services.

Lastly you will support business change and business improvement plans and proactively identify new opportunities for efficiencies in service delivery and improved Value for Money, whilst maintaining a high-quality service and effectively manage any delegated budgets ensuring monthly monitoring of spend, trend analysis, exception reporting.

Essential experience
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 3 in Leadership and Management (Nebs / ILM / IWFM) or equivalent & NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate. Or be willing to achieve this within 12 months of taking up the role.
Successful candidates will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance
