This is a temporary role to start ASAP until the end of March 2019 and will pay £10.77 per hour.
The main duties of the Facilities Assistant will be include:
" Carrying out daily basic maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the Helpdesk.
" Making sure that all meeting rooms and collaboration spaces in their areas are clean, tidy and fit for purpose. Moving of meeting room furniture - manual handling will be required.
" Carrying out a daily check on health and safety for their areas, including fire precautions, emergency signage, availability of First Aiders and Emergency Officers.
" Acting as the point of greeting for any external visitors and staff visiting from other offices, and assisting them with workstation allocation, finding meeting rooms, providing log ins to the guest Wi-Fi.
" Managing a pool of laptops for new starters and visitors, or in case of breakdowns.
" Provide first line I.T support, record management, collating and filling data, meeting room set ups, installing IT equipment in meeting rooms e.g.: Projector, VC equipment, plasma screens, phones.
" Carry out internal building audits, liaise with mailroom staff and required to distribute post.
The ideal Facilities Assistant will have previous facilities experience and excellent customer service experience skills.
