The Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

The role

The difference our new Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer will make

As a Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of an international company that's continually innovating.

Day to day, you'll be the product owner of a whole host of fabricated components and sub-systems, providing technical expertise in the development, launch and support of manufacturing methods for complex fabrications. Maintaining product support throughout its manufacturing lifecycle liaising with the various production, procurement and engineering stakeholders. You'll also support the estimation and design of brand new, innovative components ensuring they are suitable for manufacture.

Essential experience
Considerable, proven Fabrication experience
Good knowledge in welding and NDT processes
Ability to understand and estimate complex Fabrications in 2D drawings and 3D models
Able to work autonomously at times but also as part of a larger team
You must have the ability to acheive SC clearance
