EYFS Teaching Assistant

Oldham, Greater Manchester

£9.77 - £11.00 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

Vision for Education is looking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a single form entry primary school in Oldham. This role will commence in December 2020 - July 2021 to cover a staff maternity.   

The role

The EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) role available will be based at a smaller than average, single form entry Primary school. The role will be mostly in Reception but experience across all of the EYFS range would be desirable. The role will be a mix of general support and 121 support. This is a full-time role, and the successful candidates would be required to work 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday.  For the right Teaching Assistant, this position may become permanent.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, you will:

Have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) within the last 2 years.

Have experience working in a primary school setting working in small groups and 1-1 support. 

Have a genuine desire to part of a strong primary school staffing structure.
