Job Description

We are currently seeking a Multi-Site Technical Lead to lead a team of skilled engineering and maintenance professionals and sub-contractors, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of statutory PPM and reactive maintenance in order to meet the business unit, safety, environmental, financial and operational objectives efficiently and effectively.

Sodexo’s Energy & Resources team serves clients across specialist industries: oil & gas; mining and engineering; construction plus other energy sectors.

We have a dedicated team of 2,000 employees working at over 80 sites in the UK & Ireland region - often in isolated locations both on and offshore.

Onshore and offshore operations are coordinated from our Energy & Resources segment headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Package description
  • £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
  • Pension scheme
  • 23 days holiday (rising to 26 after 3 years) + public holidays
  • Flexible benefit scheme

This position will work a shift pattern of:

  • 6 days on, 2 days off
  • 5 days on, 2 days off
  • 4 days on 2 days off

The shift pattern will include working 1 Saturday per 4 weeks.

Main responsibilities
  • Drive a safety culture among your team
  • Lead your team to deliver services in line with agreed SLAs
  • Liaise with the client to ensure all works are correctly costed and approved
  • Schedule all contractor maintenance and service works
  • Recruit, develop and lead your team to success
  • Drive a high-performing culture based on client and Sodexo expectations
  • Undertake site inspections and audits
  • Manage your budget to ensure you deliver a cost-effective service, illustrating savings to your client where possible
  • Attend meetings as necessary and keep up-to-date with legislative changes and industry best practise guidance
Ideal candidate
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Great leadership skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge relevant to hard services delivery
  • Good emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience of various computer systems such as Microsoft Office
