Hours: 8.30-5 Monday to Friday.
Purpose of the role:- Schedule engineers for product installations and break fix calls. Support engineers with both administration and customer expectations.
Person Spec: Seeking a candidate with at least 6 months experience of working in planning/scheduling or co-ordinating or engineers.
Ability to multi-task and good Microsoft skills.
Manage engineering schedule & job allocations for both product installations and service break fix calls where required
Collate project requirements and schedule workload as necessary. Provide internal departments with relevant installation information.
Ensure all job requests are allocated to engineers in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring that an even distribution of workload is considered when planning resource.
Identify and escalate resource issues.
Take ownership of the installation process from start to finish. Liaise will all relevant departments to ensure the successful completion of the required task first time without the need for unnecessary revisits.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure that all required products have been ordered and dispatched to the relevant engineer in a timely manner
Follow up with engineers to ensure that they have the equipment to successfully complete the installation.
Ensure all jobs are updated on the relevant computer system to ensure engineers have visibility of their workload.
Ensure that all jobs are closed correctly on the relevant system and that any associated paperwork is received and appropriate records updated according
Maintain all Engineer paperwork, ensuring it is received in a timely manner and is correct. Escalate to the management team if paperwork is not received.
