JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5 years PQE+
LOCATION: West Midlands (Commutable from: Cheltenham, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Worcester and Solihull)
Our client is a leading regional player and their employment team has a reputation for the top quality advice they provide, whilst maintaining excellent client care. The Solicitor will join a team of professionals headed up by an employment expert with over twenty years of experience. The appointed Employment Solicitor will take on a challenging and exciting caseload of employment matters including both contentious and non-contentious work. The highly rated team is looking for someone who has the ability to undertake all aspects of employment law including constructive dismissal, unfair dismissal, redundancy, compromise agreements and employment tribunals. With an excellent pedigree you will contribute to the business in terms of billings, as well as ideas on how to develop the practice further. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Employment Solicitor with a passion for this area of law to develop their career and become a leading playing within the local market.
The ideal Employment Solicitor will have at least 5 years of post qualification experience and will be currently working for either a leading national or a regional law firm. The Solicitor will enjoy handling a full employment caseload of both contentious and non contentious matters including disciplinary proceedings, unfair dismissal, TUPE, working time regulations and drafting and reviewing employment contracts. Your client base will be varied along with your caseload and you will be able to provide sound commercial advice. This is a role that demands a strong and motivational Employment Solicitor who displays diplomatic skills and sound judgement. You will be a good marketer and business developer and will have demonstrated an ability to cover the full remit of employment law.
