As an Electronic Repair Technician your duties will include:
Electrical wiring, diagnostics and repair using text equipment for PCB rework, cable assembly and some production work.
Repairing to software such as circuit boards, cables and looms.
Testing and calibration to confirm repair and function of software.
Modifying or upgrading circuit boards, wiring assemblies and product assemblies.
An ideal Electronic Repair Technician will hold the following skills and experiences:
Hold relevant qualifications/experience in the use of assembly text and re-work equipment.
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Proven experience of working in a similar environment.
Experience of product level disassembly and assembly, cable manufacturing techniques and the use of assembly equipment with solid experience of soldering to a high standard.
Be flexible and adaptable in changing work requirements and conditions. Work individually to set time frames.
The working hours of this role are Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 16:30.
This is a temporary to permanent position.
In return you will receive a salary of £10 to £12 per hour.
