*Provide inspection and diagnostic fault finding of various electronic products and final unit instruments.
*Assemble, test and inspect various mechanical/electronic products and final unit instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies and high level technical build.
*Undertake analytical fault-finding to determine the root cause and corrective action of failed products.
*Effective use and maintenance of systems and records to ensure service standards are achieved at all times (ie use of ERP/MRP, Database and IT systems
*Effectively interpret and utilize circuit diagrams, assembly and engineering drawings and specifications.
*Ensure all assembly, test and repair functions are completed to the necessary quality standards - they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release.
*Participate and communicate with senior stakeholders (ie senior management, MRO Customer Services and other business function areas, customers) on matters requiring technical / product related guidance or decision making.
*Working with key stakeholders at all levels, use and develop technical and business skills and knowledge to support new business and adoptions integrations.
*Provide cover during operational working shift hours (may include early, swing and night shifts and fixed time hours) and working outside working hours as may be required by the business.
*Minimum 3` years recent relevant experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing/engineering environment (aerospace desirable).
*Experienced in working at electronic component level, using detailed engineering drawings and other technical records.
*Able to demonstrate understanding and application of the principles and theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components within the engineering function.
*Possess a recognised vocational qualification in electronics engineering - equivalent to HNC level or time served.
*Numerate and Literate - attainment of academic or vocational passes in English and Maths at NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or able to demonstrate necessary standard through job assessment.
*Able to demonstrate good hand eye coordination and dexterity to carry out disassembly and reassembly of units. (able to pass job related assessment)
*Can evidence personal and skills development.
*PC literate - competent in the use of MS Office applications, ERP and other business IT systems. Experience of logging identified problems ,root cause analysis and corrective action.
*Can evidence good communication skills at all levels of the company and using a variety of methods.
*Has experience of coaching colleagues and sharing experience, knowledge and skills to the benefit of the wider team.
*Able to demonstrate use of a variety of tools or equipment in a safe, responsible and compliant way.
*Can give examples of working in a high performance culture - achieving performance objectives and targets to tight timescales. Can work on multiple products and able to prioritise workload to meet customer requirements.
