Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Coventry (CV6)
Salary: £40,000 p/a
Shifts: Panama Shifts (3’s & 2’s) rotating between days and nights.

With over 50 years experience as proud British manufacturers, their stunning ranges of luxury vinyl tiling have been popular both commercially and residentially, with projects being recently completed in Premiership football club boxes, Luxury hotels, Office HQ's, Apartment blocks and in many celebrities households.
Throughout the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, their proud workforce successfully delivered on customer demands and finished December 2020 with a growth report of 7%, and solid retention of their team.
Engineering team: The Engineering department is run by two well respected time served engineers, supporting them are the Shift Team Leaders and a team of 15+ Engineers working rotational shifts.
Machinery: XY Cutting Tables, Woodworking CNC's, Conveyors, Laser cutting machines, Hydraulic/Pneumatic controlled equipment, Saws and other bespoke equipment.
The role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Breakdown maintenance, fixing machinery across the factory.
- PPM Maintenance, working through job sheets to carry out routine repairs.
- Fault finding using Siemens S7 PLC’s, Multi-Meters and schematic diagrams.
- Repairing and replacing electro-mechanical components.
- Project work installing new machinery, shutdowns and improvements across the plant.
Entry requirements:
Qualifications: City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance or Installation, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship.
Experience: 5 years minimum experience as an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) within the General manufacturing, Food, Automotive, Packaging, Distribution, Aggregates or Recycling sectors.
Attitudes: Team focused, problem solver and willing to learn new skills.
