You will be working in a close-knit private Day Nursery that is family run, where the voices of all staff are valued and hard work is rewarded. You receive a 50% discount on your own childcare, making the role work for you financially.
The setting is open from 7.30 –6pm daily for 51 weeks of the year and you will be working shifts that are agreed 1 month in advance giving you clarity on your work pattern. They offer flexibility in hours worked, as long as long as your week is fulfilled during the 5 day period.
With 46 children in total, the Nursery is different to most other settings as runs in an open plan space. This enables children of all ages to join in activities and you will have the opportunity to work across different age groups. The right staff for this Nursery will be open, honest and able to demonstrate strong empathy with children.
Your team is supportive, and so are the leaders in the setting. Many staff are currently completing their qualifications at the setting and professional development is readily available and provided. This is a family run day nursery that is not part of a big chain, you are more than a number, and this is evident in how long staff stay at the setting.
To be successful in the role, the manager expects you to have high standards in your practice, Knowledge of Early Years policies and procedures and experience in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage for children from birth to five.
The Nursery is based in Leamington Spa, and they are recruiting a permanent Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) ASAP. This setting is successful and inclusive and embraces diversity and a respect for all children and families, whatever their backgrounds, cultures, or circumstances.
Salary: Band 3 Early Years Practitioner - £19,110 to £21,748
To be successful in your application, you should;
• Hold a relevant UK Early Years Practitioner qualification (Level 3)
• Have knowledge of the UK EYFS Curriculum
• Be able and willing to travel to the Leamington Spa area
• Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the children you care for
