Creative, established media company in central Bristol have an opportunity for a permanent EA to the CEO.
Working in very lovely, modern, well equipped offices, you will be providing one to one EA support to the CEO.
Working hours are full time Monday - Friday 09.00 - 5.30 pm. You will be offered a really competitive salary as well as other company benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, eye test vouchers and more.
You will be working as part of a friendly, fair and supportive culture.
Providing high level support to the EA in their role as CEO, as well as other responsibilities and interests including membership of external boards and trusts. The role works closely with the Co-founders EA and other assistants.
A large part of the role will focus on extensive, complex and dynamic diary management and arranging travel - domestic and international. You will need to understand and proactively manage conflicting calls on the CEO's time and prioritise appropriately, ensuring priorities are actively managed and planned for the short, medium and long term.
Working closely and collaboratively with other members of the Senior Management Team in planning delegations to conferences and festivals. Organising the CEO's schedules, ensuring the CEO is prepared for external and internal Board meetings, and attending and taking minutes when requested
Acting as the representative for the CEO at internal & external events, creating and maintaining relationships with members of other organisations that the CEO works with, updating and maintaining travel reward schemes, liaise with the CEO's direct reports, ensuring they are supported in needs for access to the CEO, provide personal EA support to the CEO. You will be part of the internal event management team.
It is very important that you have previous EA experience at a senior level, can prioritise, adapt and anticipate problems when under pressure, manage a variety of tasks through to resolution that may require coordination of other team members, a robust approach in managing the constant demands of the CEO's time, balancing appropriate access with an appreciation of the CEO's overall workload and commitments.
You will need to have a tactful and sensitive approach when handling confidential material, an eye for detail, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards colleagues, common sense and resilience, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
