We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, capable self motivated Driver/Porter to join our team supporting the delivery of high end catering services across our large prestigious site. You will be involved in the delivery of stores, hardware and event catering supplies to numerous venues around site. Package description Wellington College in Berkshire is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school with over 1000 students aged 13- 18 . Our dedicated Catering Department are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our friendly team supporting the delivery of high end services across the large college campus. Main responsibilities Liaison with Main Kitchen and Hospitality to ensure deliveries reach venues within required time lines Manual handling, loading, unloading, collection and delivery of hardware/catering stores to Boarding Houses and other locations on site Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to line manager The ideal candidate will: be in possession of a full UK driving licence (essential) be in good physical health able to lift and carry heavy loads - manual handling training is provided be able to work well as part of a team and under their own initiative Good communication skills as some deliveries are customer facing Flexible - working 5 days out of 7 early,late and day shifts About the company Sodexo and our clients are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young persons and vulnerable adults.
