Digital Business Development Executive

Overview
My client design, engineer, manufacture and sell Gas Springs, Dampers and Struts for the most demanding applications from marine and food to aerospace and medical. They are a progressive and expanding company therefore opportunities to progress your career are available.

They are building a skilled and flexible workforce, who want to develop. Their fledgeling eCommerce business needs your help to grow, launching technical products into a competitive sector they need a driven executive to kick start it.

You will be given great freedoms and autonomy to work towards the objectives of your role.

Role & Responsibilities
● The early priority objective is to build the sales prospects pipeline through a combination of activities including but not limited to
○ Analysing market segments and hunting for opportunities
○ Direct contact via telephone/email/in person
○ Use Google Adwords and other CPC platforms to drive traffic
● Deliver technical sales leads/opportunities for design engineers to progress
● Follow-up responses and expressions of interest to arrange demonstrations, presentations etc
● Help to generate content for social media and other marketing channels
● Liaise with the marketing team to run the campaigns
● Work closely with marketing and management to improve campaign performance
● Managing and maintaining the website with correct product information
● Ensuring on time and in full delivery of customers orders
● You will progress identified opportunities through the sales cycle to a successful conclusion
● Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
● Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
● Commercial acumen

This is a new opportunity for the business so adaptability and quick learning are key as the role will develop over time.

Familiarity and confidence with spreadsheets (excel etc) is essential
Basic programming skills are desirable (python ideally)
Direct sales experience
