Deputy Sales Manager (Account Manager Team)
Ellesmere Port
£25,000 to £28,000 basic salary plus bonus (£43,000 OTE)
Permanent


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Sales Manager to join my client based in Ellesmere Port. The position will be to manage an established and successful team of Account Managers and to ensure continued growth, use and profitability. The opportunity is office based and is offered with a basic salary of £25,000 to £28,000 plus bonus (£45,000 OTE). Standard hours of work are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. There is also free parking on site.

The main duties of a Deputy Sales Manager are;
  • Work with the Sales Manager to assist and support in delivering team targets
  • Work with the current team in ensuring individual and team KPI's are achieved and identify areas for development and improvement
  • Manage the wider team in the Sales Managers absence
  • Provide on-going advice and support to current Account Managers
  • Support the Sales Manager in weekly forecasting and reports
  • Manage teams cross/up-sell pipeline(s)
  • Assist in recruitment, induction and training of new team members
  • Conduct monthly 1 to 1 reviews with team members
  • Providing ongoing training and development to Account Managers using various techniques - side by side monitoring, call listening and classroom training
  • Bring new ideas to the table for improvements in current processes
  • Lead the team by example by showing a positive and proactive mentality and attitude

To be considered for the position of Deputy Sales Manager you must;
  • Have management experience in a similar environment - sales/account management/customer service within an office/sales/contact centre setting
  • Have one to one training and coaching experience - call listening, monitoring and classroom
  • Possess the ability to grow and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Be a team player and be capable of dealing with strong personalities
  • Be assertive and proactive in the workplace
  • Possess strong organisational and time management skills
