Leaders In Care is on the lookout for compassionate, experienced and committed Deputy Nurse Managers in Glasgow. As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you'll be working with other care workers to make people's lives as fulfilling and meaningful as possible. This full-time role comes with a salary of £38,000 based on a 40-hour week, along with great benefits.
The Deputy Nurse Manager role:
Based in Glasgow and earning a salary of £38,000, you should have experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager - (RGN or RMN or RNLD) and will be passionate about providing excellent care. You should fully understand the complex challenges associated with working as an RGN, RMN, Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse. Responsibilities include:
Managing the clinical and care teams
Carrying out pre-admission assessments
Conducting supervisions and appraisals
Auditing, reviewing, and updating care plans and medication recordsIt will also be part of your job to train, mentor and support new staff and identify any training or development needs of the existing team and ensure these are met and documented appropriately. You will be compliant with all health and safety requirements and should be happy to take on flexible working shifts should the need arise.
Requirements for the Deputy Nurse Manager role include:
Experience working a nursing home with service users suffering from dementia
Excellent time-management skills
