Demi Chef – Pub/Restaurant – Salisbury – £21k + £3k Tronc

Tucked away on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset’s deepest countryside and with fine shooting estates on the doorstep, the menus are rich in game and fresh ingredients picked straight from field to fork. The close proximity to the coast also grants them access to the finest British seafood. The menu includes inspired, relaxed versions of British classics that reflect the flavours and ingredients of each season and they are delighted to have been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for their efforts.

Live in accommodation is available – located 2 miles from the establishment so driving is essential or a keen cyclist.



Ideal candidates will be mad about food and have bags of drive and energy.

We are looking for a Demi Chef who

·Is reliable, conscientious and punctual

·Has experience in busy kitchens at 1 Rosette level or higher but not essential

·Gets excited about using fresh, seasonal and local produce

·Takes pride in what they do and genuinely cares

·Has a passion and flair for cooking and can contribute to menu ideas

·Understands the importance of food margin control and has the skills to achieve it.

·Is proactive and always busy at work

·Able to motivate the team

·Works well under pressure

··Level 2 certification in food hygiene preferred


We are looking for an existing Demi chef but would consider a strong commis looking to make the next step in their career.
