The role of a catering assistant is to assist in the kitchen and to be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within food preparation areas. CA's are also responsible for carrying out basic food preparation tasks, such as washing and peeling food. Alongside, serving children in a school canteen environment.
The successful candidate, will need to undergo a DBS check which has a one off cost. But can be discussed upon application of the role.
This particular role is based in St Neots - so would either require a car driver, or to live in the local area.
It would be starting at the end of January and covering Maternity leave for around three months with the possibility of being extended.
Working hours would be Monday to Friday (term time) 9.30am-2.30pm.
