Defence Equipment

The Data Controller role is based within our Defence Equipment business area.

Defence equipment stores, maintains, repairs and overhauls military vehicles and equipment so the UK army is able to train and deploy in a moment. As well as supporting vehicles that are already in service, the team carries out vehicle assembly integration and tests new vehicles.

The difference our new Data Controller will make

As a Data Controller you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This provides central husbandry (data creation and amendment) of Neptune Master Data, monitoring of the Master Data general condition and incidents progression for DSG.

Day to day, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships across all functional areas of the business with the intent of ensuring business system integrity, build close working relationships with internal customers, functional data teams and NEPTUNE team members to deliver an effective data management and advocate safety standards and PPE requirements are being followed.

You'll also support the Hub to ensure Operational reports are optimised and support the Master Data and Performance Coordinator with the integrity and control of data required to manage the business.

Essential experience

• SAP experience desirable
• Proficient in Excel
• Data experience
• Clarity analyses tool experience
• Currently hold or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance
