The role involves sending out samples, compiling and sending quotes, taking orders, dealing with delivery issues, upselling and speaking with their clients within their own geographical area/zone to ensure pro-active telephone calls are maintained, logged and followed up at the agreed levels
Communicating with customers by telephone, email, letters or face to face, including changeling customer complaints, enquiries or any crisis which may arises.
Solve problems such as delivery issues that may arise reaching a good outcome for all parties.
Keep up to date accurate records of correspondence with all customers and produce written information.
Advising and updating field representatives of any potential problems which may require a visit.
Being able to plan and organise a very busy day in the office and multi-task.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers.
Respond to sales enquiries.
Real "can-do" attitude - must have four/ five GCSE's
Must live within a commutable distance
Must have at least two years customer service experience
Good competitive salary and uncapped achievable bonus
Commission is earned after 3 month probation has been passed.
Realistic target is £2,500-£3,000 per year but does have some earning in excess of £7,000 per year and is uncapped for all
20 days holiday (+ BH), after 2 years increases to 22, after 5 years increases to 23 and after 10 years increases to 25
Fully expenses Christmas party every year
Pension and sick pay are government standard
The hours of work are 8.30am-5.30pm working Monday to Friday
