Our well established professional services client are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team in Clifton, Bristol.
The successful candidate will become part of an experienced and successful Credit Control team.
The working hours will be Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week and you will receive a competitive salary (depending on exp) plus additional bonus potential is available. Parking is available.
Role and Responsibilities:
Working as part of the Credit Control team you will perform duties including:
" Building strong relations with customers
" Ensuring all customer accounts have agreed Credit Limits in place
" Making sure monies are paid within the set timeframes
" Performing regular credit checks with all new and existing customers
" Allocating payments and issuing credit notes
" Reducing overall debtor levels, and reducing aged debt
" Maintain accurate customer records
" Reconciling customer accounts and where required issuing final demands
" Produce and send monthly customer statements
" Issuing regular reports
Previous experience working as a credit controller is required to be short listed for the role.
The role will suit a team-player with excellent communication skills and the ability to be persuasive and calm. You should have a methodical approach and be organised. This role also requires a good understanding of IT systems.
If you are qualified with the Chartered Institute of Credit Management that would be advantageous although this is not essential.
Previous experience in handling trade credit insurance claims and preferably with Euler Hermes is beneficial.
