COVID 19 Tester - Birmingham
We have a fantastic opportunity for a COVID-19 Rapid Test Operative to support the implementation and delivery of the Rapid Covid-19 testing programme across the Infrastructure Project Sites that are shaping the Midlands.
The COVID19 Tester will have experience working with members of the public in a health care setting (desirable but not necessary), excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive nature. Experience with data recording/entry and is comfortable using technology to record results, commitment to the work and adhere to the strict guidelines and procedures required. Experience working in a medical, clinical or health environment is desirable but not essential.
This is a full time role, 5 days and 45 hours per week to support the COVID testing of essential workers on project sites across Birmingham.
* To safely and correctly administer rapid Covid throat and nasal swab tests to key frontline workers who work on site on a day to day basis and supporting the overall testing process.
* Supporting the team leader in the overall on-site operations of the testing unit, including delivery of testing services, Test swabs will be administered up the nose and down the back of the throat therefore, applicants need to be comfortable administering tests in this manner, and must be happy to perform and report on test results.
* Health and safety of the site yourself and the team is of utmost importance so an understanding and diligence to follow guidelines is essential for the role.

Applicants must be over 18 and in general good health with no symptoms of COVID-19, nor must anyone in your household. Due to the nature of the work. You must not be classified, or live with anyone classified, as belonging to any of the COVID-19 high risk groups. Training and full personal protective equipment will be provided
