COVID-19 City Centre Wardens - Bristol (Fixed Term for up to 6 months)

Valid SIA Licence desirable

3GS, a subsidary company of Red Snapper Group, is a specialist service provider focused on the provision of enforcement services.

We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team of Covid-19 City Centre Marshals. This is a new and exciting role ensuring that members of the public are adhering to the new measures in place that will reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The Role:

To routinely foot patrol streets and public places to enforce COVID-19 legislation.

Currently patrolling in Bristol City Centre but also covering outer district areas as the contract expands, you will work as a representative of the Bristol Council as well as that of 3GS (UK) Ltd.

You will be based at our offices, located in Bristol City Centre.

* Distributing Leaflets

* Checking Licenses for Street Traders

* Advising street canvassers to move on

* Monitoring street buskers

* Liaising with the city centre management team and Police regarding event activities

Requirements:

* A calm and assertive manner with the ability to deal professionally and diplomatically with people from all backgrounds.

* A resilient character, as some interaction with members of the public could be confrontational.

* Ability to defuse hostile situations professionally.

* Good observational and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills for report writing and speaking with members of the public.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of the team.

* Capable of being on your feet and walking for long periods and in varying weather conditions.

Contract terms

* Hours: 40

* Rota: The standard working rota is;

* 40 hours per week between the hours of 11am and 11pm, 5 shifts per week over 7 days (weekends/bank holidays) on a rota basis determined locally.

* Contract length: 6 months
