The role

As a Corrosion Control Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of an embedded team at one of our customer locations delivering an Engineering Support service which includes a preventive corrosion control regime in an austere marine environment.

Day to day, you'll be required to ensure each asset is cleaned annually to mitigate corrosion and follow a prescriptive programme to carry out preventative maintenance to mitigate corrosion. You'll also provide technical assessment and interpretation of corrosion / inspection monitoring data including corrosion anomalies and failures analysis as well as providing supporting evidence for periodic reports on the corrosion status of systems.

Essential experience of the Corrosion Control Technician
An understanding of the Defence and Security industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint etc) suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office productivity tools.

This role is based onsite.

Qualifications for the Corrosion Control Technician
GCSE Maths & English, or relevant demonstrated ability of this level
UK Driving licence

The successful candidate must have SC clearance and be able to achieve DV security clearance level for this role.
