Chef/Cook Manager - Care Home - East Grinstead, West Sussex

40 hours - £12.50 per hour

Cook Manager needed for a small care home with local retirement apartments, based in the East Grinstead area of West Sussex.

This role would suit someone who has management experience but can cook simple meals as well. You'll need knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as being able to head up the catering unit. You get a relative work/life balance, working alternate weekends, with no late nights.

What do you need to get the job as a Kitchen Manager (West Sussex):
* Problem solving abilities
* Care home experience would be an advantage but not essential
* Previous supervisory experience
* Chef Manager / Head Chef Experience in care homes, schools or as a Kitchen Manager

Main responsibilities as a Kitchen Manager (West Sussex):
* Prepare and cook food to a high nutritional standard
* Prepare special dietary requirements
* To promote skilled and appropriate care to individual clients
* Maintain a healthy environment
* Budget control
* * Management of Food Planning and Preparation
* Management of budgets, ordering of supplies and stock control
* Provision of 1-2-1 supervision, support and guidance to your direct reports
