Playing a key role in building and shaping a new Controls Assurance Capability within the Controls Office, the successful applicant will support the Controls Assurance Senior Manager in the design, delivery, and on-going operation of the first-line Controls Assurance Testing Framework for the Chief Operating Office (COO).

The difference you will make.

Developing and maintaining a risk-based assurance plan over key controls within COO.

Executing design adequacy and operating effectiveness testing for key controls within COO, providing value-add assurance to Senior Management.

Using expertise to identify control design or operating weaknesses, working with management to ensure appropriate remedial action is taken.

Reporting the outcomes of controls assurance testing; producing related reporting for Senior Management and Control Functions.

Embedding a rigorous controls culture across the Chief Operating Office and promoting #IAM Control.

What you will bring.

Proven experience and understanding of risk and control concepts, with extensive understanding of controls assurance testing, methodologies, and related concepts; and ability to apply judgement and professional scepticism to evaluate risks and control findings.

IT Background in either General Controls, Testing or Assurance

It would be nice for you to have.

Recognised audit or assurance testing related qualifications (e.g., IIA, CISA, etc.).

Experience of working in Financial Services or other large, complex organisations.

Experience of controls and controls testing related to IT, Information Security, Operations, Payments, and other Non-Financial Risk areas.

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role will be hybrid working, allowing candidates to work from office in Milton Keynes, London, Manchester & home working
