Calling all exceptional customer service executives, who want a fast paced and varied position, working for a well established business in Tamworth, great location for all amenities, full parking a stable presence within the logistics industry.
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00 - This position is a 6 month contract initially but could go permanent.
An exciting role to work for a leader in their field the role of the controller, is essentially route planning same day courier deliveries. Urgency and accuracy are of paramount importance along with customer service experience and delivering a first class customer service experience for this rapidly growing business.
Reporting directly into the team leader you will be responsible for :-
* Driver Co-ordination / Management
* Job allocation and planning of resource to achieve required response times to ensure customer satisfaction
* Driver /Supplier costs & charging
* Maximising profit margin in line with KPI's
* Ensure Driver Compliance
* Accurately pricing of jobs for drivers and customers as per pricing process
* Achieve agreed SLA's
The ideal applicant will have controller /planning experience, strong work ethic giving full attention to detail and accuracy, ability to solve problems and work under minimal supervision.

Ability to juggle numerous tasks at any one time
MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Previous experience working in transport, logistics environment within a customer service or planning position
