Control Point Clerk
Hours: 12 Hour Shifts - 4 on 4 off (will include nights and weekends)
Salary: £10.63 per hour
Hereford

Control Point Clerk required on a temporary basis to work out of our client in Hereford, a prestigious logistics company.

This role requires;
- a sound knowledge of Operational Transport Logistics
- a good telephone manner
- the ability to work effectively within strict time constraints in a demanding environment
- a considered and proactive approach to providing quality customer services.
- The ability to use excel confidently

In addition to the above, key responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintaining excellent communications with customers in order to provide excellence in customer service
- Handling and investigating the HUK Query Management System and dealing with customer queries effectively and efficiently
- Load issuing to drivers (both internal and external)
- Obtain and manage duty paperwork
- Record WTD hours
- Meeting and continually striving to exceed the establishment service levels and standards
- Report on Health & Safety Statistics and issues

Knowledge and Competencies Required:
- First class communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Up-to-date computer skills
- Ability to make own decision
- An organised approach and good attention to detail
- Good team player with a proactive attitude to problem solving
- Committed to achieving high standards of service
- Transport knowledge would be beneficial

This will be an 8 week temporary position.
