Procurement Contracts Specialist - Contracts Management
An interesting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Contracts Specialist to work with an important business who are globally viewed for being world leaders with regards to their design, manufacture and support to the avionics industry.

Job Description
Covering the Logistics category, this is a highly complex procurement role with the Company having outsourced these services resulting in the relevant contracts having to be closely monitored and measured.
Furthermore, due to evolving strategies within this area of the business, there is a requirement for significant focus and expertise going forwards to ensure success with these projects.
Other categories to be supported and which come under responsibility of this department include Corporate Services and Manpower.
Key Responsibility Areas
*Your purpose is to agree contracts with a supply base to acquire specific goods and services for internal and external customers on time and within budget and to the correct quality standard.
*This may include agreeing contracts with new suppliers, including agreement with, and support of, new terms and conditions.
*Critical to this role is the requirement to prioritise your work in order to discharge tasks and activities effectively to meet the needs of the business.
*You will conduct procurement activity in a way that optimises commercial advantage for the business and minimises risk.
*You will request, collect, analyse and interpret information collected from your established and potential supply base to support the bid process and subsequent management of the supply chain through the provision of timely and sufficient commercial information.
*You will understand how and why the activities you undertake contribute to and support the discharge of your Directorate and Department Purpose and business requirements.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
*CIPS qualified - desirable, but with at least some.
*Procurement based experience is required.
*Good IT skills is essential.
*Good communication skills also essential.
*Proven track record in achievement of objectives is important.
