The roleAs Contract Director - Resilience, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. From full turnkey projects, to the management and maintenance of specialist training facilities, Babcock is committed to developing and delivering training solutions which meet the specific and safety-centric needs of our customers.
Day to day, you'll have full P&L oversight for the Resilience portfolio (which currently includes Met Training, LFB Training and Fire Colleges) ensuring that we are meeting our safety, financial, operational and customer responsibilities. Driving a co-ordinated approach across the contracts to ensure we are delivering benefit to our customers, driving efficiency and creating a cohesive resilience agenda
Responsible for actively driving the transformation agenda with existing customers to evolve our training solutions to meet the changing needs of our existing customers.
This role will own the design and delivery of the initiation of a strategy to define and then prosecute a resilience market which will underpin the broader ambitions of the business unit to expand our portfolio of delivery outside the emergency services customers.
Essential experience of the Contract Director - Resilience- Established leader with experience of delivering a significant P&L
- Proven experience of engaging with a range of customers at a senior level
- Experience of strategy generation and execution
- Transformation / change management experience is highly desirable
- Experienced in delivering complex service operations, with Resilience or Training sector knowledge highly desirable
This is a full-time role with a flexible location, but will require frequent travel to our operational sites in London
Qualifications for the Contract Director - Resilience- Degree level education, or equivalent experience
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
