My client based in Milton Keynes is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager

Salary £45,000.00 + attractive benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday

Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will manage the Corporate Continuous Improvement Programme following the company's Production System methodology, fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the Division and Network.
The Manager (Certified Black Belt) is responsible for facilitating and supporting the operations with the continuous improvement process, developing a culture of CI. They will be required to train the local teams in the company philosophy and tool set, thus ensuring the sustainability of local compliance. The identification, documentation and adoption of best practices, as well as the development of the tools.
The Manager (Certified Black Belt) will support the local operations in the identification of improvement potential and in the implementation of improvement initiatives by engaging with operators and completing Black Belt Projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Supports company deployment within the Division and at each site.
Facilitate and foster the Continuous Improvement process and culture across the Division and network by sharing Best Practice, experience, tools and techniques
Support both Customer and Operations in the identification of improvement potential and in the implementation of improvement initiatives
Identify and collect best practices for further development of the tools, ensuring sustainability of local compliance
Monitor savings and CI progress at site(s) via the Corporate Tracker tools
Development and support of White Belts, Yellow Belts and Green Belts through coaching and mentoring
Consistent and timely communication across both the Customer and Operational teams of activity and progress of initiative being undertaken
Work with the Operational Teams to identify Black Belt level projects for the Division and lead these projects

Skills and Experience
Certified Black Belt with proven experience in Continuous Improvement in any operational environment (Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc) and Project management skills
Influencing, coaching and people engagement skills and strong communication skills at all levels
Leadership skills, inspiring others to follow the programme and change the traditional ways of thinking
IT skills and presentation skills
Proven 3-4 year's experience ideally at a Management/Senior operational role on site
Numerical/analytical skills (confident in using and analysing data)
Financially aware (experience in use of management accounts/P+L) with an understanding of P&L and how KPI's affect profits
Organisational skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
