A great opportunity has become available to work within a Naval Dockyard on the repair and lamination of various parts for defence craft.
In line with a planned maintenance requirement, there is a need for a number of Laminators to join the team as of 29th July for a period of 5 months. Work will include repair of parts on in-service craft and modification/build of additional parts. Work will mainly consist of GRP wet lay lamination.
In terms of your experience you will be confident working with a range of composites within a team environment. You will be stationed within a naval shipyard in a state-of-the-art facility, with lots of hours available.
Due to the security standards and expectations on site you will be required to complete various security checks. To qualify for this, you will need to be able to provide 6 years employment history and reference contacts plus be of British birth. You will also spend your first week being inducted on-site and
be put through various training days before being able to work on site.
Two days have been allocated to interviews/assessments. These will take place on Friday 28th June and Friday 5th July to allow security checks to be completed in time for a 29th July start.
Rates will be as follows:
£20/hr - standard rate
£22/hr - Evenings and weekends
£26/hr nigh shift (if required)
