Our Stage Resources department are hiring, and we are looking for a Compliance Technician to join us.
Based within Stage Resources, this role works to ensure that lifting equipment, accessories and related equipment comply with relevant legislation. You will undertake the inspection, testing and maintenance of equipment and work alongside other technicians on compliance-related activity, supervising when required; this will include working in all three venues and other NT spaces.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Some good technical operational experience in large-scale repertory or touring theatre, or within an equipment rental company.
- A working knowledge of current health and safety legislation including the HSWA, LOLER and Working at Height Regulations.
- A working knowledge of, and experience in, entertainment rigging and staging.

— Training and experience in PPE inspection.
— Training and experience in the inspection, testing, operation and maintenance of electric chain hoists.
— Training and experience in the use of mobile elevating work platforms.
— Training and experience in the use of forklift trucks.
— Training and experience in working at height and the use of work positioning and fall arrest equipment.
— Industry-recognised certificates in rigging, stage craft, health and safety and electrical awareness.
— Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams software.
