The Role:

Are you the next up and coming chef to walk the walk.  This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a brigade of around 15 chefs with the leadership of an outstanding Head Chef who has worked in some of the most prestigious locations in London.

We are looking to recruit an up and coming chef for our fabulous four star art deco hotel which sits in a world class location, overlooking three miles of the best beach in the UK. Stunning venue with AA rosette standard cooking, a large heated pool, gym and spa facilities. They are looking for a commis chef with experience and passion for fresh, local foods with high standards of presentation. Live in is available if needed. 

Hours are based on a straight shift pattern with the majority of them being 11am till 10pm.  There will also be split shifts on occasions which will normally be 10am – 2pm and then 5pm till 10pm.  These will be dependent on business needs.

As a Commis you will have experience of working in a kitchen environment, working ideally within a large scale, 180+ room hotel or multi outlet catering environment.  You will have experience of working in a similar environment, with a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate which is preferred but not essential.

The position is to start ASAP and is on a full time basis working on average between 40 – 50 hours per week.
