The difference our new Commercial Officers will make:
As one of our Commercial Officers, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for commercial support to the business, involving management of commercial and contractual aspects with customers, and ensuring compliance within internal corporate governance and approvals, all of which are integral towards driving commercial performance of various contracts tied to numerous exciting projects across the business.
Day to day, as part of our commercial team, you will support the budget management process, you will assist in drafting standard contractual documents, as well as providing input and guidance to the commercial elements of bids and proposals for new projects of work.
You could play a key role in the delivery of a range of critical projects across our various business sectors, supporting key customers in industries which include defence, marine, civil nuclear, emergency services and private sector training.

Proven track record of assisting with the delivery of robust commercial management on contracts and bids
Commercial management of large-scale projects
Experience in providing commercial specialist input into bids and contracts
Demonstrable evidence of developing and sustaining positive working relationships, including the ability to negotiate commercial terms
Preferably educated to degree level with Law degree or similar qualification, or equivalent level of relevant experience.
