Job Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial the Commercial Manager shall provide full commercial support to the operating business. Be responsible for coordinating and managing all departments involved in driving the sales process forward from receipt of enquiry to contract award.

Duties

-Responsible for the review of client enquiry requirements defined by the Customer Enquiry or Sales Manager request.
-Manage Enquiries from receipt through business process to generate a high-quality proposal, tender return or budgetary submission. Either through the Sales Team or direct to Customer Interface.
-Responsible for managing and leading the Major Projects tender opportunities through tollgate approval process according to business guidelines.
-Responsible for the completion of full Customer Contract Terms & Conditions Commercial reviews in line with the standard business operation practices
-Responsible for the negotiation of Customer Contract Terms & Conditions including payment terms and currency
-Responsible for managing the interface with all relevant business functions, to produce a full risk review as part of the tender evaluation process.
-Manage the interface both internally and externally for the gathering and submission of all Clarifications, Qualifications and Exceptions within the tender cycle.
-Responsible for managing the Major Projects tollgate process from enquiry bid/no bid through to bid to win submission. Working closely with the Sales Manager and Leadership Team for business approvals.
-Present Major Projects deal reviews to the Executive Team and wider audience as necessary to obtain all approvals necessary to submit the Tender.
-Work closely with Sales Managers and the Head of Commercial, to organise suggestive price strategy, pricing structures and customer strategy, as well as full cost estimation models associated with Quotations and Tenders.
-Prepare all offers in accordance with standard company practices and procedures, utilising the proposal templates standardised within the business.

Experience/Qualifications

-Degree educated or equivalent experienced professional considered.
-Significant relevant knowledge developed in a Commercial Export Environment or a similar role.
-Experience in Contractual terms review and negotiations
